Yesterday I attended the last 16 Champions League game between United and AC Milan, a game in which United mauled the Italians 4-0. In attendance for the trip was me, Ryan aka Magee, Michael aka Pea Head, and Glen aka G. Left the house at 11.30am on Wednesday and was back at 1.20am Thursday morning.
This was our view from the stand, as the players lined up for the Champions League theme.
Highlights in no particular order:
- Learning from the pub quiz machine that Kronenbourg beer actually originated in France
- Short plane journeys
- Gerald Magee lol
- Pea Head not gettin a badge with a date on it lol
- Standing in the beer garden on a dry day surrounded by United fans
- Two hours straight chanting in the bar with random United supporters
- Match day burgers
- The result obviously
- A sea of green and yellow anti glazer chants
- Beckham's reception
- Some guy from Radio1 asking us for a match prediction and favourite Beckham haircut
- Burnley drawing 1-1 with Stoke
Not highlights:
- HP's being dented
-That 'Welcome to Belfast' sign at Aldergrove... one of the most depressing things ever.
